Find the strength to be strong as your child prepares to step into their new chapter. I know that this will be extremely hard but you can do it. Remember to pray, pray and pray some more until you feel that peace that will allow you to let your child head out the door. Love them and let God carry them to this new and exciting phase. Remember you did so much from them. You bandaged their scrapes. You held them during bullying and you instilled all the right ingredients that will make them equipped for this college life (Smile) Its going to be OK.

 My youngest son Patrick will be heading to college later this year. Most people would be sad but I am excited for him and all of the wonderful things that he is going to learn in this new chapter. I have talked with him, prayed with him and now I am sitting back and watching all those lessons manifest in this Amazing young man. He is strong and has a presence that commands your attention. It is because of this fact, that I have no worries about him. Thankful that he is my son.
