Hello and welcome back once again to my blog. Today is a beautiful day because I just finished talking with my oldest son Elijah on the telephone. He lives in Georgia and I miss him so much. They get older, they grow up and then they move. I know this but it is still hard because I miss him. Elijah is amazing and creative. My nickname for him is FIRE. Yes, that is his real nickname and it fits him completely. He stayed in trouble as a teenager but as he is getting older he is getting things back on track. My oldest son Elijah is slowly becoming a man. I can truly say that I trust his judgment!

Elijah is my oldest son. I have two boys and one daughter.  As a single parent I have loved and supported my son like a mother should. Elijah has had a really hard past but has got his life on track. That was no easy task but he did it. He did it with support from family and our belief in God. Thank you Jesus! I always stood by him even when his decisions did not agree with what I thought he should be doing.  My biggest lesson with my son Elijah has been. He is an individual and I am not him. He is smart and adventurous he definitely will live his life on the edge with no safety net.  So I have learned to give him advice and then trust his judgment at the same time. But you know what? I trust him. I really do. And I am so proud of the man he has become. You may have a child that keeps your heart pounding because he/she wants to climb a mountain or maybe go sky diving. Whatever it is, be supportive and let them feel your love.
