 Hello and welcome back again to my blog. Thanks for stopping by today. I want to talk about my sick companion Paul. My handsome fella has been sick with the flu for the past three days. This strong manly man is fighting his sickness tooth and nail (Smile) I finally convinced him to let me take care of him. I have been here at the condo cooking cleaning and keeping him hydrated.

Now I’m sitting on his couch with a sad, sick 200 pound man beside of me. I am sitting here reading bible verses to him and stroking his head. I suddenly realized just how much I love this man. I know, he knows, God knows! I pulled out my phone and scrolled through some pictures of this strong man. It seems like a lifetime seeing him boarding the plane, working on the car and spending time with my kids. I look at this wonderful man in the pictures and he seems so confident and so completely protected and loved by God.

I’m letting that truth wash over me as I continue to take care of him. Paul is my better half and God knows his heart. Praying that he gets better really fast as we prepare for our trip to Las Vegas. Thankful to our wonderful church family who has not stopped praying for us. Thank you father. You are my shield and you are the Protector of my Soul. I praise You, Lord. You lift me up.
