I have fallen deeply in love with myself, and I think that's a beautiful thing!

Good morning everyone and welcome back to my blog. So glad that you chose to join me here once again. Today I wanted to speak about self worth and loving yourself. Tough subject for many and especially me. It is a wonderful place to be when you realize your own worth. I'm so in tune with myself finally. I am 51 years old and I have finally realized that you have to be happy with yourself before you can be happy with anyone else.

Today I want you to ask yourself if you are truly happy. Are you happy? I don't know about you, but I don’t put up with anything that makes me feel uneasy anymore. Those empty days are gone. Although I do get lost from time to time, I make sure that I catch myself before I sink back into that dark place. We are all human and can still make mistakes. It's learning from those mistakes that makes us stronger.

I appreciate this process of falling in love with myself. It’s so much beauty in GROWTH. For the first time in my 51 years, I don’t seek validation from anyone or anything. All the validation I need is right here within myself. Thank you father for allowing me to see myself through your eyes.

I was so tired of trying to live up to other people's expectations and losing myself in the process. I tell you, that is a non-winning, endless cycle. You can NEVER please everybody so why try? Someone will always find faults. It's a proven fact. It's quite possible to lose focus on yourself if you start to believe that negativity. Starting today, starting right now, this can be a new day. Do you trust me? You can be fresh and new starting today. I like that title. Look in the mirror and know that you are worthy. That is the first step.
