Good morning everyone and welcome to my blog. I see that I have some new people here on the blog so I thought that I might tell you a little bit about myself and my family. My name is Lashon and I am a mother of three  children. Elijah is 26, Lyric is 20 and Patrick is 18. I was married to their father for half of my life and I am recently divorced. I am a surgical Technologist, a USN Veteran and a Social Media Manager. I also have a great boyfriend named Paul who ignites a passion in me that I have never felt before. He loves God just as much as I do. That my friends, is pretty sexy!

Divorce was a hard patch for me and it took me some time to get my feet back underneath me. I was at a all time low and at that time I talked with God so many times to figure out what my calling was. It was during that time that I started to pour out onto others the same comfort I had received from my Comforter God. My pain  forced me to lean on God and accept my limitations without losing my self-worth. Because the TRUTH is, even with my struggles and all of my flaws, I was still loved by God. I’m needed. I’m valuable, important, irreplaceable just as I am. It just took me a while to figure out that truth.
