When I think of all the times I use to worry about my my son Elijah's safety in Atlanta. So much time on my knees praying. I would always focus on the what ifs instead of focusing on all the things that I know. It took some long nights praying and positive, spiritual, encouraging members of my church to bring me to a place where I learned to fully trust in God.

So Stay positive and rely on your friends and family. You raised your children and now they must spread their wings and fly. As you prepare for another day without having your child home with you, Stop for a second and make a decision this morning to count on God's ability and not your own ability. Trust in him right now because the love he has for you is real. God loves you so much. He will establish and direct your every step as well as the child that has moved away. Trust in him

Watch how this new outlook, this new awareness, this new approach will spill over into smiling a little more, becoming less stressed about the little things and peaceful days at home so that missing your child will become just a little less painful.
